Core Values

Nicola has a long history of working for the NHS and other public bodies and as such, our core values closely align to those.

The people for whom we deliver our services to are at the heart of Nicola's ethos and providing the highest possible standards is paramount, as is caring for the staff who deliver these services on a day-to-day basis.

By nature, Nicola is a collaborative person who seeks out win-win situations and encourages organisations and professionals to work over boundaries for the benefit of the people we care for. We consider our contracts with clients to be collaborative relationships and we also collaborate with others to benefit our clients. We support others to achieve their goals in addition to inviting them to support us.

Respect and dignity are important - to all with whom we work with and to the people they work with - be that patients, careers, staff, suppliers or people living with a condition or illness. As such, no person is more or less valuable than another; we will act in ways that recognise this and we will challenge discrimination and injustice when it occurs.

Throughout her career, both in nursing and in management, Nicola has striven for the highest quality of care in safe environments and this value still drives her today. Quality should not be compromised - the relentless pursuit of safe, compassionate care for every person who uses and relies on our services is a collective endeavour, requiring collective effort and collaboration at every level of the system.
